This 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera was converted into a race car when new by longtime Porsche mechanic, racer, and 24 Hours of Daytona winner Ralph Meaney.
Based on a reinforced shell and equipped with a full roll cage and RSR-style fiberglass bodywork, the car was built for IMSA and SCCA competition. Mr.
Meaney, who passed away earlier this year, independently raced the car up and down the East Coast at tracks such as Bridgehampton, Lime Rock, and Road Atlanta, including at the 1975 SCCA National Championships.
