The Tipo AM 116 Indy was named in honor of Maserati’s 1939 and 1940 wins at Indianapolis and was designed as a four-seat touring alternative to the Ghibli.
This example was previously purchased in 2002 by a Maserati collector in Illinois, who drove the car regularly until 2010.
It was then stored until the seller purchased it last year.
