This 1969 Lotus 61 #140 is currently built to Formula B specifications with a strong Lotus twin-cam engine.

The Lotus 61 was designed as a Formula Ford racer, though many were built to race in other series.

This car was originally sold to famous racer and Jim Russell without an engine, and the first log book entry from 1972 shows that the car was already converted to Formula B.

It was purchased by BaT regular in approximately 2002 and rebuilt from the bare tube frame up over the next decade, using the best mechanical components and most up to date safety equipment possible.

It was completed in 2012 and has had three short shake-down track sessions of about 30 minutes each since then.

After completing the car Mr.
