Unlike the vast majority of MkII Minis, which were Austin badged and built at Longbridge, this Morris was produced at Cowley and retains its original Hydrolastic suspension.
The car was acquired in November 2010 as a barn find following the death of its then owner, John Halsall, having been stored for approximately 12 years.
It was subsequently sympathetically rebuilt during the winter of 2010/11, with the engine completely rebuilt, the subframes removed and epoxy coated, and the underside similarly treated.
