Description Road legal ST-3 modified for track day use with various performance upgrades; 320bhp; Quaife diff; BC coil-overs; Mongoose exhaust; Sparco seats; spare set of wheels and tyres and spare exhaust included Launched in 2005, the Mk2 Ford Focus ST (often dubbed the ST225) was one of the best hot hatchbacks out there, blending everyday practicality with raw performance.
While the original Focus was praised for its sharp chassis, the Mk2 ST elevated the formula by packing real muscle, aggressive styling, and a uniquely stirring soundtrack.
At the heart of the Mk2 ST was a Volvo-sourced 2.5-litre, turbocharged inline five-cylinder engine.
Producing 222bhp and 236 lb-ft of torque in stock form, with a six-speed manual gearbox, it could sprint from 0 to 60mph in around 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 150mph.
The signature five-cylinder warble, accompanied by deep exhaust burbles and occasional pops, gave the ST far more soul than four-cylinder rivals like the Golf GTI.
