The car was used in several local road rallies before being placed into dry storage when a Mk2 Rally Escort took precedence, with the intention of returning the Mini to the road when time allowed.However, due to business commitments running a busy Mini specialist business, combined with family life and limited spare time, the Mini remained untouched in dry storage at the vendor's premises until February 2025.
