From 1978 – 2019 it was owned by a Mr D Hutchinson of Cobham, a Land Rover enthusiast who spent a great deal of money on the vehicle, as detailed in correspondence and many invoices on file.
Highlights include: 1982 – Completely rewired and converted from 24v positive earth to 12v negative earth.
1990 – Body removed and the vehicle was fitted with a reconditioned S2A chassis supplied by EVE Components Ltd of Bucks, complete with axles, springs and dampers.
