Delivered new to John Blackwood of Beaulieu Lodge, it left the factory finished in Glasso Grey with a modified rear wing.

In 1975 it travelled to the United States, joining the ownership of Dr Gillette in New York, before returning to the UK in 1989.

At that point it was restored and repainted in its present maroon and ivory scheme, also acquiring its current registration number.
