Upgraded to a 950cc A35-type engine; in Deluxe specification; starting, stopping and driving while on site; honest and usable classicThis 1956 Austin A30 Seven was first registered in March 1956 and is finished in classic black.

It is the more desirable Deluxe specification, identifiable by its bumper overriders, opening rear side windows, and twin front ashtrays.

The car has had a total of nine former keepers, with the current keeper acquiring it in June 2023.Originally supplied with an 803cc engine, the car has at some point been upgraded to a later 948cc A35-type engine, fitted with an SU carburettor, offering a modest improvement in performance while retaining period-correct character.

A stainless steel exhaust has also been fitted.Although very little documented history has survived, the vehicle was able to start, run, drive and stop under its own power while on site for photography and video, demonstrating that it is a running and usable example.More recent maintenance reporte...
