Description Only covered just under 1,000 miles since rebuild; family owned for 20 years; an array of photos showing the renovation This Land Rover 1959 Series II, 88in 2 1/4 petrol was rebuilt in 2024 with original chassis (rear 1/4 chassis has been replaced) and runs and drives as it should having been family owned for 20 years.

The rebuild from the chassis up included axles, swivel hubs, bushes, suspension components and all ball joints etc.

The steering box, gearbox, transfer box also all went through a rebuild at the same time (there is an array of photos showing this).

The engine was subjected to an overhaul including all gasket replacement, carb rebuild, starter service and a new fuel tank complete with the pump.

The vendor has informed us that lots of other work was carried out at the same time, with too much to list here but the photos show the extent of the work that was carried out.

The car was driven here over 30 miles, starting, stopping and driving as it should since...
