Early 'pull-handle' MGB; restored in the late-1980s and carefully used since; current owner 8 years; unleaded head; alloy wheels; driven 150 miles to the sale; ready to enjoy As the Heritage Certificate confirms, this early pull-handle MGB Roadster was built in January 1965 as a RHD UK market car and was originally finished in Iris Blue with a blue interior and was supplied new via John Bryant & Son Ltd of Bromsgrove.
A DVLA print-out records the details of nine previous owners from 1976 – 2017 and a colour change from blue to red in 1986 which was presumably when the car was restored.
An engineer’s report from September 1989 declares the car to be in “generally excellent condition” and refers to a fully restored body shell with new wings, floor sections, sills and doors, a reconditioned gearbox and a good engine (which is original to the car) with no oil leaks.
