We certainly were because it actually drives way better than it looks with that fabulous W124 magic carpet ride, dismissing the pot holes at the bottom of our yard like they weren’t even there and with that ‘hewn from granite’ feeling unique to the W124.

It was first registered in September 1993 and has had just five owners since, the second keeping it for 22 years (1999 – 2022).

While the service book has gone astray, it comes with dozens of invoices for regular upkeep between 2000 and 2023.

It was last serviced in October 2023 and it has only covered 200 miles since.
