Description Current owner 10 years; huge history folder with lots of good expenditure; comprehensive recommissioning circa 2012; EMPI five spoke wheels; lots to like Purchased by our vendor ten years ago, this charming Volkswagen T2 Campervan was first registered in April 1975 and comes with a vast history file extending back to 1980, covering just 5,000 miles since been fitted with a rebuilt twin port 1641cc engine.
Stand out items in the history folder include an invoice for a respray in 2012, although this was presumably just the orange bits.
Also between 2012 and 2013 we find lots of invoices that would hint towards a fairly substantial recommissioning.
These include a new bonnet, new rubber seals, gaskets, ignition coil and supporting parts, new fuel lines, a new oil cooler – the list goes on...
More recently it had a new battery in April 2023 and a new starter motor in March 2020, but that’s about it for recent expenditure apart from a few invoices for service items.
