First registered in March 1980, this super-cool TR7 has a few tricks up its sleeve, not least the 3.5 V8 slotted under the long, low bonnet.
Mated to an LT77 five-speed gearbox, the V8 has a four barrel Edelbrock carb with a ported head and tubular exhaust manifolds going into a 2.5-inch exhaust system.
A dyno sheet shows that it makes 270bhp and boy does it sound fantastic! The previous owner refurbished the 3.08 rear diff, installed GAZ shock absorbers at the rear and new KYB struts on the front with lower and stiffer springs all round, accompanied by a smattering of polybushes.
It has beefed up AP front brakes with larger rear drums, all the flexi brake lines being uprated in braided stainless steel.
