It was bought in November 2016 as a project, the first job being to dismantle it to the bare shell, just keeping the loom and the dash in place.

The car was unmolested as purchased and required no welding - the glass remaining in good order too.

There were a few blemishes that were sorted, particularly in the spare wheel well, sill and arches.

The engine was seized and the head cracked, so it was all stripped and rectified, and fitted with an overhauled carb, many parts yellow zinc plated, a copper head gasket and the thermostat mod done to keep a cool head...

New heater hoses were added, fuel tank painted and new brake cylinders, pipes and hoses fitted.
