Description Older restoration in good order throughout; later 1,275cc engine; fast road cam, high lift rockers and rolling road tune showing 83bhp; chrome wire wheels; round arches; a sporty little Midget that is ready to enjoy First registered in June 1963, this MG Midget has had just six owners from new, according to the V5C, and comes with a good file of invoices to show regular upkeep over the years.

From 1987 to 1998 it was owned by a Mr James of Newport who had the bodywork restored by the MG Centre Cardiff in 1990 at a cost of £3,292 (new wings, sills, door shells, waxoil treatment, repaint in black etc).

It was presumably converted to the round wheelarch style at this time (pre-1972 Midgets having square rear wheelarches).

In 1995 at c.91,000 miles it had another bout of expenditure including a new duck hood, new steering rack, track rod ends, shock absorbers etc.
