Under the bonnet, we find the later 2.8 litre fuel-injected Cologne V6 engine which replaced the traditional 3.0 carb’d Essex version which was unable to keep up with ever more stringent emmissions rules.
Despite a lower displacement, power was up to a claimed 160bhp driving the rear wheels via the later five-speed manual gearbox.
