Description Only 88,200 miles indicated; well-maintained and in regular use; 1.8 carburettor engine; a tidy and usable example of this classic '80s saloon Supplied new by Royal Ascot Garage of Berkshire in January 1988, this BMW 316 Automatic is a post-1987 facelift model with the 1.8 M10 carburettor engine rated at 89bhp which made it good for a top speed of 110mph with a 0-60 time of 12 seconds for the manual version.

Finished in black with a grey cloth interior and power steering, it has covered 88,200 miles in the hands of six former owners.

While there is no early history with the car, there are lots of bills from 2010 onwards to show regular upkeep and servicing since then.

Earlier this year it was fitted with a new LH front wishbone, a new battery and a new rocker cover gasket following adjustment of the tappet gaps.

Last year it had various new gaskets to fix some oil leaks, new cam follower, oil and filter, fuel pump and propshaft centre bearing carrier.
