Description Coachbuilt saloon; in single-family ownership for 80 years; large Kopalapsa sunroof; recent tyres; a very presentable little Minor fitted with a side-valve engine First registered in early October 1930, this 'Vintage' Minor was first owned by a lady in Crowborough.

It was to remain in the same family until 2010 when it was sold to a gentleman in Bexhill who undertook a chassis-up restoration which took him a year.

During its early life, it never really left Crowborough, its longest journey taking place in 1934 - a heady 27 miles out of town! It was laid up during the war and then in 1957 was put away in a barn to be exhumed in 2005 - a period of 48 years in hibernation.

Looking at its chassis number, we suspect that its ohc engine was swapped for a side-valve unit, a common enough transplant back in the day.

The recent restoration was comprehensive and it now looks in super order, with photos on file to show the breadth and depth of the work carried out.
