AI Listing Summary
This 1965 Austin Mini Cooper, with its iconic red and black color scheme, was restored in 2009, including a bare shell restoration and a new Newton Commercial interior. While the paint shows some imperfections typical of its age, and paperwork is limited, it has a good MOT history and presents as a tidy example of this classic British car, offering potential for further improvements.

Condition
6
The car underwent a bare shell restoration in 2009, including weld in floors. The bodywork is as you would expect of a 14-year-old paint job, the red still vibrant and looking good albeit with areas of imperfection. MOT certificates dating from 2011 through to 2016 showing a good track record only failing on minor issues. Overall, a tidy example of a British icon, with some room for improvement if and when funds allow.

Description Older restoration; from long-term ownership; recent Newton Commercial interior First registered in June of 1965, this Austin Mini Cooper has been in the current ownership since 2010.
Undergoing a bare shell restoration in 2009, including weld in floors (see photos).
The car presents well, both inside and out, with a newly upholstered interior from Newton Commercial, making it a rather nice place to be.
While there are no invoices to show exactly what was done during its restoration, there are a few photos to show the car during the process including a photo of it stripped down to its most minimal form.
Resprayed during its restoration in its original and arguably Mini’s most iconic colour, the bodywork is as you would expect of a 14-year-old paint job, the red still vibrant and looking good albeit with areas of imperfection, but still eye catching with its black roof.
Although tax and MOT exempt, we do have MOT certificates dating from 2011 through to 2016 showing a go...
