Description Still flying the flag for its long term garage owner (1976 +) with the original decals intact; wonderfully intact pickup that's seen some careful recommissioning to preserve the patina after 24 years in storage First registered in September 1969 this cracker of an Austin 8 cwt Pickup still wears the livery and colours of F A Donovan & son, a new and used car sales firm in Sandbach that acquired it in 1976.

Understood to have been tucked away for the last 25 years or so, we gather it has benefitted from some recommissioning while trying hard to retain the original look and feel and kept to the original specification down to the ‘crinkly’ radiator grill, stock hubcaps and Austin bonnet badge.

The commercial variants featured telescopic dampers, stiffer leaf suspension and a lower final drive ratio for improved laden weight performance.
