Description Early '72 350 with extremely rare four-speed manual transmission; smart hood; tidy example once owned by Jay-Kay of Jamiroquai Dating from January 1972, this early R107 series Mercedes-Benz 350SL is finished in White, and sits upon its original steel wheels with polished hubcaps.
We also note inclusion of the removable factory hard-top in white and fitment of a black Mohair soft-top with plastic rear screen.
Under the bonnet, we find the 3.5-litre M116.980 SOHC V8 engine featuring Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection and produced when new, 197bhp and 286NM of torque driving the rear wheels here, via the rarer option of four-speed manual transmission which is arguably more engaging than the usual three-speed auto more often found.
