Description Unusual to see JDM spec 11th Gen Skyline CPV35 Coupe packing 276bhp from its 3.5 V6; auto/tip 'box; Scorpion back box; useful 2+2 seating Dating from June 2004 this car may not be instantly recognisable as part of the iconic Nissan Skyline lineage, but is in fact the 11 th Generation of Skyline model, launched in 2001 to replace its (legendary) R34 predecessor and is known as the V35 series.
The V35 Coupe, as we find here, (known as the CPV35) is the only Coupe model within the (saloon biased) 11 th Generation V35 range and shares more than a passing resemblance to its super Nissan 350Z sports coupe cousin.
The Coupe was intended to be focused more at the Luxury-sports car market, where-as the 350Z was to be slightly faster, stiffer, lighter and a strict 2-seater in line with its Z-model forbears.
The Skyline’s move into the ‘luxury sports’ market was a move many die-hard fans chose to distance themselves from, referring to the 11th Gen and onwards as the ‘new generation...
