Description Current owner 21 years; 76,800 miles; brand new hood; stainless steel exhaust; a super example all round As the Heritage Certificate confirms, this E-Type V12 Roadster left the factory in August 1973 and was supplied new via Hewitts of Wolverhampton to first owners Gardner Steels Ltd of Cradley Heath in December of that year.
There is no early history with the car but there are lots of bills from 1982 onwards, at which point the car had covered 63,000 miles.
It has clearly been repainted/refurbished at some point in the past as it was originally white with a dark blue interior, HPI/Experian recording the colour change in 1999.
This seems to have been carried out by the E-Type Centre of Derbyshire, as they carried out a lot of work on the car before selling it to the previous owner in October 1999 who was very pleased with his purchase, as emails on file confirm.
