The C6 model ran from 2005 – 2013 and, like all its forebears, had a lightweight fibreglass body with wonderfully dramatic styling which left no doubt that it was a very fast car indeed.
Under the bonnet lurked the mighty LS2 V8, a famously reliable 6-litre producing 400bhp and 400lb/ft which could launch the Vette to 60mph in just 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 186mph and up to 30mpg economy.
