Description Older restoration from an Isle of Man collection; recently recommissioned with many new parts; good running order and in regular use; new hood and sidescreens; ready to enjoy First registered in January 1951, this MG TD subsequently found its way to South Africa where it was acquired by a Dr C Prestwich in 1979 to join his collection.
He subsequently had the car restored and when he moved to the Isle of Man in 2000, he brought his entire collection with him.
Our vendor, an Octagon Club member, acquired the TD via a Charterhouse auction in 2018, at which point it was still on Isle of Man number plates (JMN-63-U) and in need of recommissioning following a period in storage.
He got the car UK registered in January 2019 and soon had it up and running again with various new parts fitted.
In January 2020 it was sent to those good chaps at Much Marcle Garage for a major service and a good going-over which cost over £2,600.
