Finished in black, the car rocks a lowered stance, with Euro style head lights, smoked indicators and rear light clusters and lower lip to the bumper and sits upon a set of Borbet 17” deep dish two-tone alloy wheels wearing stretch tyres to give it a mean, dominant posture and presence.

We also note fitment of a Scorpion exhaust back box and rear spoiler to the hatch back boot lid.

Under the bonnet, we find the 2792cc 2.8 litre VR6 engine (AAA engine code) which develops 174Bhp and 235NM of torque driving the front wheels via five-speed manual transmission which gave the MkIII VR6 a zero-sixty time of 7.5 seconds – not bad for the period.
