1962 Rover 2200TC No Reserve Driven from the UK to Iran and back in 2008 by our vendor (10,800 miles); the trip was featured in Practical Classics Magazine in July 2009; dry stored since; in need of re-commssioning with a fair share of battle scars from expedition driving Purchased in 2004 as a running project, this Rover was then prepped by our vendor, Sam Glover, of Practical Classics magazine, to drive to Iran and back.
Before the trip, it received a new stainless steel exhaust, new springs and shock absorbers, Superflex bushes at the front, an electric fan, an electric fuel pump, a new clutch and a basic engine overhaul.
This was all done in-house, so no invoices and quite frankly, now its driven so far on disastrous road surfaces, this is largely irrelevant now! The story of the journey was covered in the magazine in July 2009 (a copy of which is included in the sale).
Since then it has largely been laid up in dry storage so will need re-commissioning again.
