The Heritage Certificate on file confirms this Austin Mini Moke was originally spruce green, left hand drive and exported to the North American market to Hambro Trading Inc.
in California.
Photographs show the state the car was in before being brought to the UK and being restored by well known Moke specialist, Mark Palliser.
Ground up restoration would be fair to describe it as and the engine is a suitable replacement.
Completed fairly recently in what appears to be Hawaiian Blue, it was purchased by our vendor, however he has decided he needs to sell it on so here we are… Driven to the auction, put through an MOT in April this year, it is definitely one of the earlier Mokes and looks like a lot of fun.
A first V5C has been applied for and at the time of writing has not yet arrived with us.
