1954 MG TF1500 Beautifully restored TF in marvellous order; c.£24,000 spent including new steel shell; five-speed gearbox upgrade for easier crusing in modern traffic A stunning example dating from 1955 that has been the subject of a £24,000 restoration carried out by the 1 st UK owner including new steel shell, a fully rebuilt engine with lead free conversion, a replacement five-speed Ford Type-9 gearbox, new 60-spoke wire wheels, new Mohair hood, full respray in British Racing Green, stainless exhaust and head light upgrade along with a full re-trim.
Imported from the States in October 2015 through New York, but coming from a dealer in Missouri the car arrived in the UK as a LHD black car with green trim and biscuit hood, which has been verified by the BMI Heritage Trust (supporting certificate in the file).
Following restoration the car was UK registered in 2018.
