1986 Mercedes-Benz 300SL (W107) Only 42,800 miles from new with an excellent service history; detailed and highly favourable 27-page engineer's report included; a gorgeous example of this blue chip classic Widely regarded as the pick of the 107 Series range, the 300SL came out in 1985 and had a creamy smooth 3.0 straight-six producing 188bhp and 191lb/ft which made it good for 0-60 in 9.6 seconds with a top speed of 130mph.
Almost as quick as the larger V8 models, it was not only more economical but also handled better thanks to improved weight distribution.
First registered in November 1986, this gorgeous 300SL is finished in Surf Blue with Alpaca Gray leather seats.
It has covered only 42,877 miles to date in the hands of nine owners, our vendor buying it from Kenny Dunn Motors of Edinburgh in February 2017.
