1958 Land Rover S1 109" LWB Restored in 2103 including new chassis and bulkhead; later 2.5 TDi engine fitted; recent new tyres and canvas tilt; four owners, the curent since 2014; transferable number plate Dating from 1958 this Series One 109” Land Rover was first registered in March 1963 and presumably spent its early years in service with the military.

It has had only three former keepers, according to the V5C, the current since January 2014.

Although there are no invoices in the history file, we are told that it was restored in 2013 which included a new chassis, new bulkhead and the fitment of a later 2.5 TDi diesel engine.

The tyres all look virtually new, as does the canvas tilt.

The front seats are from a later vehicle and it appears to have a few non-standard extra gauges, switches and sockets along with a high level air intake for the engine.

Now MOT exempt, the last ticket expired in June 2020 with no advisories, since when the vehicle has been unused and in storage.
