1970 Triumph TR6 No Reserve Freshly restored former US car; solid car when stripped down requiring very few repairs; ready to be enjoyed Earlier former U.S spec TR6 with CC chassis and engine designation (although V5 says 1970, its likely to be a ‘68/69 model car), it has been freshly restored and finished in bright red, sitting upon centre-lock wire wheels with a replacement black hood – boxed and not fitted.

The car has been extensively restored by our vendor, a retired panel beater from the Welsh borders, he tells us the car was uncommonly rust- free needing very little in the way of repairs with some photos of the work on file.

Under the bonnet, we find the early carb 2.5-litre straight six, which as a former US example may be the earlier 104bhp unit with lower compression to meet emissions restrictions.

The vendor informs us that he rebuilt the engine with new piston rings, main and big-end shells and the valves have been reground.
