1974 Rover 3500S Originally registered on the Isle of Man; exhibited at many shows in the 1980s; restored in 2000/2001 but has not been run since 2002; for recommissioning Shouting 1970s, this Rover is presented here with almond paintwork below the huntsman vinyl roof and a pretty presentable sandalwood interior.

Initially supplied by Mylchreests of Ramsey on the Isle of Man to a Mr C Robinshaw of Ballaugh, it wore the IOM registration MN 9980 and after one more owner and thirteen services on the island, it was exported to the mainland in 1984 by classic car specialists Hurst Park Motors and sold on to Paul Cowan in 1985 with still only 29,813 recorded miles.

Another nine recorded services followed in the book until 1999, while it was exhibited at countless shows including at the NEC Classic along side Harold Wilsons’s P5 apparently! Winning many awards over the years and we are even told it was chosen to feature in the ‘Stand By Me’ Oasis music video.
