1999 Rover Maestro No Reserve Fun road/rally car for that International challenge; LHD In production from 1982 until 1995 the MG and Austin Maestros were very good cars.
After Longbridge production ceased, it was not the end of the story however.
The factory continued to produce the car in CKD (Completely Knocked Down) form, supplying a number of businesses around the world, local garage Parkway of Ledbury perhaps being the best known 'assembler'.
This 1999 left hooker was however a Bulgarian-built car, produced by a company called Rodacar.
It carried on using the indestructable 1,275cc A+ A-Series engine, but this time coupled to a VW five-speed box.
It was originally black and according to the V5C, has enjoyed 10 UK owners and has been here since registered new in November 1999.
