1999 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph Lots of history; 15 stamps over 90,000 miles; fabulous spec; private plate included; V12 refinement The gestation period for the Silver Seraph took nine years, the engineers at Rolls-Royce taking their time replacing the highly traditional Silver Spirit which could trace its roots back to the 1965 Shadow I.
Finally unvelied at the Geneva show in 1998, it cost £155,000 in base form and used BMWs sublime M73 5.4-litre V12 engine to good effect.
It was very well recieved and sat alonside its Bentley sibling on the form of the twin-turbo V8 Arnage.
This example was supplied new through Broughtons of Birmingham in May 1999 and was ordered in Deep Aqua livery.
