1988 Renault 5 No Reserve Tidy three-owner car from 27 year ownership (deceased estate) showing just 57,000 miles - wonderfully simple Supplied new by Abergavenny Motor Company Renault dealers in November 1988, this late model ‘Campus’ edition of the super little R5 comes to us from a deceased estate, having been with its lady owner for the last 27 years.
It was carefully dry-stored between 2013 and 2021 (as a result of the lady ceasing driving) following which it has been pulled out and lightly recommissioned.
The recommission included fitment of a new battery, fresh fuel, a set of points, a new exhaust and its first MOT since 2013 at which time it had covered just 56,726 miles and now shows just 57,071 miles.
The car is unmolested, and looking to have not seen paint or a welder in its life (don’t hold us to that) with the interior beautifully simple with great all-round visibility and that minimalist French-chic feel.
