1988 Volvo 240 GLT Manual Estate Rare to find manual; sensible miles and well kept; just two owners from new; fresh MOT; lots of service history A bit like buses, we hadn't seen a 240 GLT manual estate for quite a while and then two come along in consecutive sales.
This one is a particularly smart example, showing 123,250 miles on the clock - a mere half-life for one of these robust load-luggers.
It was sold new through Slaters of Abergele, who looked after the car for the next 19 years.
They saw it no fewer than 21 times for service, the last stamp dated 2007 at 111,000 miles, so just 12,000miles have been added in the last 14 years.
It carries their garage sticker in the window and the vendor has even gone to the trouble to buy some new branded number plates - again through Slaters.
