AI Listing Summary

This 1976 Leyland Mini 1000 is a rare find with only 17,189 miles, retaining its original Limeflower Green paint and brown interior. While it needs some mechanical recommissioning and rust repair, its originality and low mileage make it a desirable classic.

The car has very low mileage and is largely original, which is a huge plus. However, it has been sitting idle and needs recommissioning, including new points, plugs, and a condenser. Cosmetically, it has some rust spots on the bodywork that need attention, plus a dinked bumper and some interior wear such as the headlining coming away and some surface rust in the boot.

Yes, what we have here is an entirely original, authentic, unmolested 1976 Mini 1000 that, today, has just 17,189 miles on the clock.

The vendor’s father got the car back up and running and it made a few appearances at various Mini rallies.

He found that the car needed remarkably little doing to it in terms of remedial work, and although he overhauled the brakes and checked and cleaned the cylinder head, no major work was required other than to fit a rep...
