AI Listing Summary
This 1972 Lamborghini Espada Series II, chassis 8558, is a left-hand drive example with 39,000km on the clock. It features a 3,929cc engine, manual gearbox, and a Blu Notte exterior with Champagne Leather interior. The car has undergone significant recent restoration work, including extensive sheet metal repairs and an engine rebuild, making it a mechanically sound and cosmetically appealing driver's car, though not in concours condition.

Condition
7
The car is described as being in good condition overall, with some age-related flaws in the paintwork and minor imperfections in the interior. The bodywork has benefited from recent work, and the underbody is well-presented with no worrying signs of rust. While it's not in concours condition, it's nice enough for long-distance trips or rallies. The engine has been recently rebuilt and is ready for use.

Everyone has certainly heard the story of the birth of Lamborghini, or more precisely of Lamborghini cars.
What is less well known is the variety of models offered by the brand over the years, especially in its early years, and the impressive speed of its evolution.
In 1964, Ferruccio Lamborghini launched the 350 GT, which was to be the brand's first model.
Built in aluminium on a Superleggera chassis by Touring, and equipped with a V12 engine designed by Giotto Bizzarini, the 350 GT was a recipe for the perfect GT.
In 1965, the Miura was presented at the Turin Motor Show, with an evolved version of its big sister's engine, but in a mid-rear position.
At the 1968 Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini presented two new models: the Espada and the Islero.
