The car is described as being in very good condition overall, with some minor cosmetic imperfections. The bodywork is very good and free of any significant dinks, dents, creases or folds. The paintwork is glossy, and the panels, panel gaps and shut lines are all up to the impressively high standards usually set by Porsche 928s. There are a few stone chips and some rippled paint around the Gemballa mouldings on the rear wheel arch on the driver’s side. There are some scuffs, stone chips and scratches on the passenger door and some scratches on the front wing on the same side. There are also some scuffs around the front valance and one or two stone chips on the bonnet. The external rubber trim is broadly pretty good, although the trim around the sunroof is looking a little tired. The gas struts on the bonnet and boot no longer perform their ascribed tasks. The interior is every bit as untroubled by use and the passage of time as its exterior counterpart and is in generally very good condition. The tan leather upholstery is in good order and has only the lightest patina of use to hint at its 40+ years of existence. The door cards are fine, as is the headlining, the carpets, the mats and most interior fixtures and fittings, except for various parts of the rear parcel shelf which, as ever with 928s, has been disassembled at some point.
