AI Listing Summary

This 1992 ALPINA B10 Bi-Turbo, number 376, is a rare find, with only 2 delivered to the UK. Finished in Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic with a Black Buffalo leather interior, this left-hand-drive example has covered 188,000km and had a comprehensive refresh in 2016 and further mechanical work in 2020. While the bodywork is in very good condition, a few cosmetic flaws are mentioned and some corrosion on the underside.

Condition

7

The car has had some bodywork restoration, with new front wings and sills. The underside has been de-rusted, undersealed, and Waxoyl'd. The interior is in terrific condition, but there are some flaws including some scratches and a mark. Mechanically, the owner states that it drives wonderfully, but the 'Check Control' light is illuminated, so that will need investigating. The underside contains some corrosion.

Costing $3.2m in development costs, this bi-turbo version is based on the 535i but the changes were extensive: the six-cylinder M30 engine was stripped down and rebuilt with, among many other changes, new Mahle pistons, two Garrett T25 turbochargers and a Bosch variable boost control.

Power rose from 208bhp to 355bhp, wit...
