The tiny Formula Abarth, a feeder car for the faster Formula machinery, holds a special place in Italy's motorsport history.
Built from 1979 to 1986 in about 150 units, the Abarth SE 033 is the last Abarth car to be approved by Carlo Abarth in 1979, the year of his untimely death.
According to Luciano Greccio, his biographer, Abarth himself modified Mario Colucci's project to improve the car's appearance during his last visit in Turin.
