The Benjamin car company was a French establishment under operation from 1921-1931 .

Producing a range of vehicles and cyclecars for small displacement racing, they built interesting competition cars including a rear-engine two-stroke that won its class in the 1923 Tour de France.

The company has now been out of business for almost 100 years, but that did not stop a man by the name of Rodolfo Iriarte from constructing this wonderful recreation.

Iriarte was both an engineer and architect working out of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He had a reputation for building phenomenal recreation cars built with intense attention to detail.

This Benjamin is one such vehicle, but Iriarte also built several very notable Delahaye 135S recreations using modified Delahaye truck and bus engines sourced from Uruguay.

The body of this Benjamin is hand-formed alloy with cycle fenders constructed around a post-war frame.
