AI Listing Summary

This 1989 AC Cobra Mark IV is a rare Lightweight Roadster, one of only two built to this specific 7.0-litre specification. It boasts a recently rebuilt Ford 427ci side-oiler V8 engine with impressive documented performance figures and has covered minimal mileage since its acquisition in 2007.

Condition

8

The car has been meticulously maintained and upgraded by its current owner since 2007, including a professionally rebuilt engine in 2014 with significant performance enhancements. It has always been stored in a heated garage and shows very low mileage since acquisition. While there are no stated cosmetic flaws, the extensive upgrades suggest it's not in factory original condition, hence the Excellent rating.

According to the register, the car was first registered in 1995 and originally owned by one G Hutchinson.

The car is fitted with its original four-speed top-loader gearbox with Hurst shifter, and is finished in its original colour of Porsche Nile Green.

The interior was re-trimmed by Graham Dean in January 2007 in Spruce Green leather.
