It powered by a 192 cubic inch Lycoming-built "French type" engine with nearly square dimensions of 4 inch bore and 4⅝ inch stroke.

At a then-rapid 1,900 rpm it made some 33-brake horsepower.

A three-speed sliding gear transmission and shaft drive to the rear wheels used live axles with semi-elliptical leaf springs.

Brakes were mechanically operated on the rear wheels only.
