First registered on 14th May 1984, this BJ42 came from an important Toyota collection of 87 cars, mostly bought from their first owner with relatively few kilometres recorded.

In 2017 this car was extensively restored by a leading Belgium Toyota specialist using numerous new-old-stock original Toyota parts.

This was a total body-off restoration down to the last nut and bolt (all in the original Toyota finish) with the utmost attention paid to detail such as the spot-welding dots behind the wings.

This model, unlike the earlier BJ40s, has all the available options already installed by the factory: front disc brakes; power steering; original Toyota fifth gear; digital clock; six-digit odometer display; larger 3,400cc engine instead of 3,000cc etc, etc.
