• The most desirable, sporting Springfield Silver Ghost • Original chassis, engine, and coachwork • An older restoration • Same family ownership since 2000 • Engine professionally rebuilt circa 2005 • Registered in Sweden In December 1919 the newly created Rolls-Royce of America Incorporated purchased the American Wire Wheel Company's plant in Springfield, Massachusetts, from which the first US-built Silver Ghost emerged in January 1921.

Unlike its British-built counterpart, the American 'Ghost could be ordered with 'factory' bodywork, usually by Brewster, the latter company being taken over by Rolls-Royce in December 1925.

Right-hand drive remained the norm for US-built cars until early in 1925, the penultimate year of Silver Ghost production, when the switch was made to left-hand drive.

The model was replaced by the New Phantom (retrospectively Phantom I) in 1926.
