• A genuine racing prototype built around the Ferrari V8 engine • Highly original and extremely competitive • Constructed by the late and renowned Joe Huffaker • Originally commissioned by Paul Newman's racing associate, Bill Freeman • Campaigned by its current owner in the Ultimate Cup Series in 2020 and 2021 • Approximately 390 bhp at 9,200 rpm for a weight of around 900 kg Joe Huffaker (1927–2022) began building racing cars as early as the 1940s, before launching his professional career through a partnership with BMC following the competition success of his Austin-Healey 'Huffaker Special'.

He subsequently produced a series of Genie sports cars powered by American V8 engines.

In 1963, Huffaker entered the Indianapolis 500 under the MG banner.

The 1970s and 1980s proved particularly successful for Huffaker-prepared MG, Austin-Healey, Jaguar and Triumph models, with victories across the Can-Am, IMSA, SCCA and Trans-Am championships.
