Unveiled in March 1961, the restyled Austin-Healey 3000 MkII boasted engine improvements in the form of triple SU carburettors and a revised camshaft, increasing maximum power to 132bhp.
From November '61 a new gearbox was standardised, which at last moved the gear lever to the centre of the transmission tunnel.
Contemporary road tests typically recorded performance figures of a 114mph top speed and a 0-60mph time of approximately 11 seconds.
This Austin-Healey 3000 MkII Convertible (BJ7) was despatched from the factory on 21st March 1963.
